One of the things I love most about old jewelry store facades is how distinct they are. It doesn't matter if it's still a jewelry store or not you can always tell that's what it was supposed to be. Such is the case with the Paule Jewelry Co. store in Burlington, IA.
This used-to-be jewelry store is now the Stylique Salon and Day Spa.
The sign is literally carved into the black facade of the jewelry store.
I couldn't find hardly any background information on the Paule Jewelry Store, except for this old post card picture showing what the inside of the building looked like.
